Hey guys just wondering if anyone here has built a 7bolt stroker. If so, I have one question, at least for now. :D

I'm going to purchase a new crank for my stroker build and was hoping someone here would be able to tell me what the mitsu part number is for a '7bolt stroker crank'. I have a 7bolt, AWD w/ manual tranny. (98 Mitsu GSX)

Yes. I know all the pros of building a 6bolt vs a 7bolt and the potential cons associated to building a 7bolt....etc etc. I respect everyones opinion but I'm set on building a 7bolt and that's that. Not trying to be a D*CK but I really don't care to hear about the crankwalk horror stories or expect anyone trying to talk me out of building a 7bolt. Again I would like a Mitsu part number, I know I need a 7bolt 4G64 crank. Thanks in advance. Enzo

yea I read about a few people having it done ... there was a kit on ebay for the 7 bolt actually. I considered doing this actually too while my motor is out again but I don't want to spend the extra money on stroker pistons since I just bought the ross pistons. I know you can do a 7 bolt stroker and I'll post up if I can find the part number.

I wouldnt bother with gettign just a crank. on dsm.org in the vendors section theres a place called "all arkansas mitsubishi. they shipped me a 7 bolt 4g64 block and crank for $100. price may be more now but that was about a year ago. I built mine and I am really starting to enjoy it now that its broken in.

use a montero 7 bolt 4g64 crank, a 95-98 model, it uses the same bearings, and doesnt require any knotching of the block and everything fits perfect

You order a crank from a 2g spyder non-turbo. It's a 4g64 crank. That is your best bet. That's what I have and it works perfect. You will also need custom pistons. I got mine from JE.

thats the exact pistons and crank i have (the montero 4g64 and 2.4 eclipse is the same crank) and block of those oil squirters when you do the machine work on the block
