7 month project coming to a close. HELP NEEDED

ok so iv been building a car for quit a while now. its my first turbo dsm, i bought it as a shell in august, iv completely buit the car from the ground up rebuilt the egine all new parts and every thing, so my question for you guys is what kinda of oil should i run in it and how should i break it in?
iv got dsmlink v3( not sure if it matters )
but i just need a hole how to for how to break in my new engine.
any help would be great thanks guys.

Searching is a wonderful tool, took me almost 5 seconds to find that one

But, for my .02; and what others will say in that that post up above is,

The first time you start that motor will be the time where you decide how you want the car ran. This is the time in which, the piston rings seat.
If you want it as a DD, drive her like one..
If you want a weekend warrior or built for track, go hammer on it right from the get go!
If you want a daily driver; but a little more fun as well, do a so/so get on it break in!

But there are MANY different ways to do a break in.
(example 1 of many)

Mitsu says break in on the engine is 500 miles and you are not supposed to go over 55MPH during that time period and as stated above you will want to vary your rpm's when crusing. Personally I don't even go above 4k let alone redline until I've got at least 1000 miles on the engine/rebuild... and since you've pretty much got a new engine you should take it easy for a while. Enjoy!

i beat on my rebuilt motor from the week after i got it back. ran really fast but blew after only 10,000 of constant abuse. personally i think 10 grand was good if you consider my driving. i say take it easy for the first 1000 miles then let her ripp.
