I just bought an oem 7bolt ofh. Now I noticed that it came with an oil restrictor but I would have to remove that restrictor to get my feed line to thread in. So I need an adapter so I can use that restrictor and my current Feed line. I was hoping summit would have it but I don't know what I need.

This is the restrictor. I took it off to bring it to lowes to see if I could find an adaptor but couldn't find one. Anyone know what adapter I need. I have a stainless steal braided line for my feed line like this

So are you saying get rid of the restrictor and just put my feed line straight to the ofh? That is how it was before with all the turbos I've had but this new ofh came with this restrictor on it so I figured they want you to use it. :p

Well I have never heard of a filter housing coming with a oil restrictor for a feed source to the turbo.
especially with a stock OEM OFH.
From what I was told is that MHI turbos are already restricted internally.
So yes I am saying to run the feed line straight to the ofh.
Thats how I have mine.

Yeah I've had mine like that for a while but I don't have balance shafts. I just hooked up my AEM oil pressure gauge so I need to see what my oil pressure is. The hole was ported though for the OFH to lower the oil pressure. It is weird that this came with a restrictor I am going to call extreme psi tomorrow and ask them about it.

Forced performance sells oil filters with a restrictor built in. It is a -4 AN male on both ends. I have the balance shafts removed and the oil pressure is higher.
