can I use a solid 6puck clutch with a 7 bolt crank?

It's a 99 so it has the revised split thrust

I'm thinking of the XTD stage 4 solid 6-puck plus fidanza flywheel for $400

or

act 2100, with F1 Racing 6 puck solid race disc and fidanza flywheel. $485

I don't want springs to fall out.

looking for 350-400fwhp

You will be fine, I would use a street disk for that power level. It will be far less headache. I would do an ACT 2100 if you are going to stay on the low end of that range, if you are thinking 400 or more I would step up to a 2600.

I would also shy away from the aluminum flywheels as they have posed problems with warping in the past, a good chromoly will do everything you need.

You can, but I don't think you will like it on a street car, it will chatter and have a harsh engagement.

The spring ejecting issue is not as bad as everyone says, I have only had it happen once or twice. (I have used up a lot of driveline parts)

I can do F1 RACING XTREME CLUTCH PRESSURE PLATE (2200lbs) with ACT streetlite flywheel for $340 and then I just need a disk....is the act ones still having a problem with the springs?....and how harsh are the unsprung ones.

thanks

Personally i think youre going backwards with this one. F1 flywheel is pretty solid but from experience i wouldnt use their PP or clutches for this power level. Its your choice however.

Comp clutch Ceramic Six Puck Sprung 1620 Series Disc with extreme pressure plate. Supposed to be good up to 500ftlbtq plus the act streetlite flywheel $550

or I can do a new act disk (street or 6 puck sprung) $150 act streetlite flywheel $250 so $400 and then buy a used act 2600pp.

how long do pressure plates last?

which option would be better?

IDK which option would be better. Im not going to tell you based off of hear say. Research it, all im saying is that f1 clutches arent all that great. They work for a while but they dont last too long. However the flywheel they make is top notch for a very reasonable price. I chose chromoly for the simple fact that i dont trust aluminum flywheels.
