7 bolt awd 02 sensor on fwd 6 bolt

can i take the 02 from a 7 bolt 1gb awd and put it on my fwd 6 bolt 1gb?

when re wiring my alt i gave the 02 a little zap.. would this hurt it or no?

I just checked the part numbers and they are all the same for the TSI models from 91 to 94. So to answer your question yes. I would just buy a new one to be safe. As far as the zapping situation i dont know.
