6Bolt Swap in a 2G is there a diff in the dipstick

I have done the swap car runs fine etc... I just noticed though Jim was over last night with his talon 6 bolt swap too. He is using the 6 bolt tube and dipstick. I myself am using the 7 bolt tube and dipstick does anyone know if they ARE different or the same?

use the 6bolt pickup tube & dipstick. all tho i dont think there is any diff.

I have both gonna measure just wasn't sure if I would miss somthing that was all.

I don't think there's any difference. When I did the swap, I reused the dipstick from my 7 bolt and put it on my 6 bolt and it has been fine.

I dobut its any different. It will be like many other 6bolt/7bolt thing. A few guys will say it's not the same but it is. I have my 7 bolt stick, I should whip it out and measure to see how long it is..

I have used a galant vr4 (6 bolt) dipstick on my 2g for a year so im pretty sure they are interchangeable.

The dipsticks are the exact same. I have 3 6 bolt swaps and used 7 bolt ones now. My first one (my car) i CAPS the part numbers and they were different......1g metal handle ...2g plastic handle. Thats it.

i just happen to have both dipsticks in my shop, i just whipped them both out and compaired the two. they have the same length, with, and girth.... WTF...i mean uh yeah. there the same, so everyone can stop playing with themselfs now..
