Besides Qualcomm, is there anything else going down that weekend. Should be a 3 day weekend for most people since it's Memorial Day- Monday,28. Just wondering if there were any car meets or car shows, etc. happening. If not, this might be a good weekend to plan something.

GimmeMoeBoost- haha I heard you took the yellow hatch. My man. Yeah I smoked all those guys on the freeway, then I felt like getting pizza and ice cream. I saw alex, the one with the blue gs-t, he went to the same cvs as me. But yeah did you hear my bov? Really quiet huh.

That meet at In N Out was pretty cool. Even though among us there were 3-2g's an EVO and a R1. I Would encourage alot more DSM's to go next time though. The more that come the better. We need a better DSM to Honda ratio,(10-1) LOL. There were also a couple other DSM's and an EVO that stoped by, but they were rolling there with the Hondas:rolleyes: . So anybody else thinking of coming next Sunday the 20th, I'LL BE THERE. I would just recommend being there at about 10:30-11ish til --------->.:thumb:

Even though its 10-1 hondas to dsm, we still woop them. I'll be there next sunday. That was pretty cool. My friend put the same bov on his 240sx rb26 and his was super loud, like scary loud. On mine, you can barely hear it when boosting. I really need to do a boost leak test soon.

Maybe if I have time this weekend we can swap my mechanical boost gauge into your car just to get an accurate reading. It wont take that long, we just tap into a vacum line and route it into the car. Then maybe you can run it while I listen outside of the car. I'll also try my best to help you with that boost leak test. Just let me know.:thumb: Oh yeah just as advice when buying a boost gauge go with an autometer or other known name. I had a p.o.s OBX gauge (freebie) and It was way off. I still have it but I think it's going in the trash. :notgood:

I was driving my car (the silver gst) My brother had the black sweater and is barely almost 16 but drove every car I owned. The other guy was the white guy, my friend. He currently has his 88 Supra impounded(min. 30 days). He was caught for speeding, reckless driving, and racing. About those boost gauges, believe me I thought the same thing. I still have that p.o.s OBX gauge, so maybe we can try using each one and decide which one you believe. My current one is an autometer.

When I swaped the gauges using the same mods the OBX read like 12in Vac. at idle and spiked like 15psi. With the Autometer it reads about 17in Vac and spikes about 18psi. I believe the Autometer, seems more reasonable.

Yeah I took it all off the next day. It was hard as hell but got it off. My friend up in arizona has a 1998 skyline GT-R and everytime he goes out, someone does some shit to his car like, keying it, taking his emblems, taking the air out of his tires basically bullshit for having a bomb ass car. Haters.

Zeclipse, I'm not saying you should return that gauge. You never know, it may be accurate. I have 2 gauges plus the one you're getting will allow you to test all 3. This way we can see if any of them are off. There's lots of good things on e-bay, but I simply don't trust certain mechanical things. Hell, I'll give you that OBX boost gauge. But I know for sure it's inaccurate. If not I'll give it to Verge, then see it on craigslist next week.LOL. About that egg, no matter how jealous I am of someone's car I love cars too much to hate on someone like that. (The sad thing is that the person doing it is probably 30.LOL.)

so when are we going to get together to practice our synchronized parking hahaha, no but on a serious note we need to spread the word and get more dsm's and find new local meets, also is anyone interested on cruising to qualcom on the 25th?

How about we meet again at In N Out this sunday same time? 10? Haha I get off at 10. Yeah I'll work on the parking. But yeah GimmieMoeBoost- lets do a boost leak test on my car this saturday if you have time. I get off at 4:30. I want to do it myself but hardly have anytime, my friend said to just hook up the pressure tester to the turbo inlet and pressurize it and I'll be able to track the leak with spray bottle and look for bubbles and thats it. There is a bunch of decent, good, and great stuff on ebay for our cars. I actually bought a megan downpipe last night. It was for 189.00 or best offer. The auction was over but I bid 130 anyway just for the hell of it and I got an email like 10 minutes later saying I won it. Saved 60 bones. Just saving up for the FMIC. We need to meet at like a robertos or something and eat some burritos. haha

Great to hear you're getting so many mods in a short amount of time. I get impatient when it comes to horsepower:beatentodeath: . I most likely wont work Saturday. So I'll be down to help you with that boost leak test, as I still need to do one on my car:coy: . Do you have the items needed to do the test already? I'll PM you my number-call whenever. I'll keep you updated if I have to work though.

Yeah I want to upgrade to a FMIC but I have to wait like a month. damn. I have the tester but I don't have an air compressor. bike pumps really suck, don't even work. i might have to go to a gas station. i get off 430 on saturday. so any time after that is good.
