Which trans is used in the 6bolt in 2g? Does it matter? and also if it doesnt matter which is easier to rebuild, the 1g or a 2g? i have a 1g trans but it needs synchro work. id rather rebulid that one then source a 2g trans. also is the 2g any harder to mount up(if possible of course). ok thats all thanks.

You use the 2g tranny. The 2g tranny has 3 motor mounts on it that you need to connect. The transmission bolts right up to the 6 bolt with no modifications.

Use the 2G tranny, the 1G tranny's are harder to bolt up in the 2Gs, because they have diff # of motor mounts.
