[6 bolt swap] how do i bolt this tb?

    The threads on the intake manifold dont go all the way to the tb. how do bolt this on? pics would help me. thanks!

    Removing the studs and using bolts would be a good way to go.

    That's the wrong stud or its installed incorrectly or possibly both.

    And please stop using rtv where its not needed.

    1) Take them out and use bolts.
    2) Put a die on the end and cut the threads further down.
    3) Put a sh** load of washers on the end (not recommended but I've done worse).

    Thanks for the heads up on RTV, I thought it was necesary.

    Whats the best course of action to remove the studs?

    Vice grip if you are not going to use them any more. Or two nuts jammed together to get it off if you want to reuse them some day

    Two nuts would be the best way tighten the two nuts on the tread of the stud pretty tight, use the inside nut to back out the studs. Saves the stud compared to vice grips.

    If you use the right gaskets the outside one comes with a built in bead of it. The inside and outside gaskets are different. No rtv needed. Also two nuts backing the stud out is the way to go. :thumb:
