ok, ive read through forums and have been workin on the problem for about 3 days now and i cant get it right..........I just swapped a jdm 6bolt into MY car....hooked everything up, did the cas and crank sensor trick and turn it on.....it seems to idle fine and all but when i go to rev the car it revs maybe 500rpm them start suttering or what not really badlly...im guessin its ignition but i wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem and what it may be to make my life a little easier....ive ttried messing with the timing and what not but it doesnt help....i need this car back on the road asap and im getting (if not already really) aggrevated with this becasue this is the 3rd 6 bolt swap ive done and i havnt had this problem before.....HELLPPPP!!!

when i go to rev the car it revs maybe 500rpm them start suttering or what not really badlly

Are you loggin it with anything? Did you mean 5000 RPM? I had this problem with mine and it was because the GM Maft wasn't calibrated correctly so the airflow tables were off. I also had a friend who had their plug wires backwards and it caused this issue. Did you reverse the plug wires as well as the "Cas trick"?
Any CEL? cometimes the 6 bolt swap will throw a cel because of the "random misfire code" due to the cas.
Is everything grounded nice and tight, maf plug in all the way, plugs gapped correctly, battery not low on charge...
Do you have a list of mods (if any)?

no 500 rpms is right...its idles and i try to rev it then it goes up maybe 500rpms and starts sputtering and everything and wont go any farther...spark plugs are gapped right and as for switching the spark plug wires around i have a 98 so i didnt think you had to do that

Sounds like a bad boost leak or a problem with the maf sensor not having a tight fit in the intake tract, or a bad maf sensor all together

so check it out.....i was mesing around with the FPR yesterday and the and the quage was reading al funny (idk how to decribe it) but i went inside the garage and took the FPR of my sisters car and bolted it up and turned it down around 39psi. That did the trick the only thing thats left for me to figure out is why my clutch is engaging 1 inch off the floor and when i floor the car its almost like my clutch i s slipping like hell and wont go any faster than a roll.......my new setup is a 4 puck race disc along with a fidanza flywheel.....your input would be cool...thanxs
