okay i have swappd a 6 bolt in my car along with a new 95 gs-t harness. after many weeks of long work the car starts but only runs on like 2 cylinders. i don't know why and we are trying to figure it out i mean it starts with no trouble also when starting the motor is fouling the plugs. i understand that this can be caused due to too much fuel. if anyone can give some incite as to things that i can check or if my problem has anything to do with the inverted cam angle signal please let me know as i am very excited about finally driving my car and since this is the last thing holding me up it just makes it that much more tantalizing.
 
thanks for your input i'll try that tomorrow. otherwise i's off to a "real shop" where i can just get my car fixed
 
Are you getting spark at all four plugs? Check that before you run to the shop.

If it will run on two cylinders then it is either a bad connection to two injectors or ignition problems. Just start finding what works and eliminating it from the equation. :coy:
 
no i'm not getting the spark but i can't figure out how to get it there i've been trying everything.
 
So you're only getting spark at two plugs? Have you tested the resistance on the coil pack? Checked the ECU for leaks? Tested the CAS?

What steps exactly have you gone through? If you can list everything we might be able to spot something you missed.

Or, if you really are just fed up with it, take it to a mechanic. Diagnosing electrical problems is time consuming and will be expensive though.
 
yeah i know it will be expensive. i had no fuel to 2 injectors and no sparks also then i got spark but still no fuel i haven't checked the cas or ecu because i don't know the steps to take in doing so . do you know them
 
Did you get it fixed? I am haveing a similar problem I have lost cyl 2&3 injectors, injectors are good, wires are good back to the ECU and I have tried replacing ECU but its a no go
 
i did the 6bolt swap and at first only ran on 2 cylinders and ran VERY rich. My problem was the Power Transister, that stupid little plug that is had to mount with the swap on the intake mani. otherwise maybe your CAS is acting up. If you are throwing misfire codes than it is CAS, hope it helps.
 
no it's not fixed yet and it's really bothering me. but i live near the famous speed injected and i am taking to gary marsh on may 10. until the it must sit like the dsm tha it is. sorry i guess i'm not a full dsmtuner yet guys
