this might sound like a weird but i cant figure out with the shop manual or searching the forums. i cant find a awd 1st gen e/l/t at the junkyard but they have 5 almost complete fwd cars. can i use 4 front wheel hubs to do the conversion or do i need to keep looking. i have a 92 gvr4.

yeah i found how to do the swap. it should be a straight bolt in but i wasnt sure if i could use front hubs from a fwd car on the back of my galant.

im still trying to get an answer on the question. could i put front hubs from a fwd car on the back end of my galant

Hit up a junkyard and scout an Expo LRV. Those are the "big brakes" of the 4-lugs, and they're bolt-on's. Nice Colt.

I am sorry, but LRVs had "small" brakes :(. However, you can easily upgrade them with Galant VR4 brakes.

However, JDM LRV (RVR) has 5 lug hubs, I would love to get their rear brake set-up so that I can convert my Summit Wagon (same as LRV) to 5 lugs in the rear (the frotns are easy to do).

the best thing you could do is sign up on Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 Forum - E39A 4G63 , There are MANY how-to's on what you need and need to do for the 5-lug conversion...check it out...and so you don't get flamed try the search function...

yeah definitely search it, its been done over and over. nothing wrong with 4 lug btw
