Hey guys i was wondering if anyone knew if the block and head from a 4g67, found in the 93-95 hyundai elantra, was compatable with the 4g63. I found a complete 4g67 with only 50k miles on it at a nearby junk yard. I had read that the crank was the only major difference making it a 1.8 instead of 2.0. Since i had planned on doing a stroker kit on an engine anyway i thought it might be perfect. Let me know ur opinion and any info u might regaurding this engine.

If you don't know what you are talking about don't post. The head will work off of it as long as it's the DOHC. The cams are different so you will have to replace them but other than that it bolts right on. Also it has less rotating mass in it so that equals more power :thumb:
