Mounted up the VR4 AYC pump. I need to slot two of the bolt holes and it'll be securely bolted down. I going to attempt to use an extra power steering fluid reservoir I had laying around for the pump but if not I can order one.

I'm also waiting for my fittings to come in so I can plumb everything up

The idea for now reusing a power steering reservoir. I'll be cleaning up the access holes and installing grommets before mocking up my lines. They pretty much line up with the ones on the pump so not much work is needed

Tested my fuel setup the other yesterday. No leaks from the modified 3G eclipse & Honda accord pumps. Pump wiring confirmed to work when activated in ecmlink.

I need to adjust the float levels again though because I only put in 4-5 gallons to test. Should be easy to fix but no rush to get it working properly. Gonna swap around the AN fittings to get a better fit on the pumps and make my feed&return lines today

Fuel pump harness is done and wrapped up. Took my 90° fitting off for a better fit and made a temporary cover. I cut too much off the access hole but I'll fix it later

Forgot to update this but the car has been driving for a few weeks. My TI Automotive 525 pump went out the second day after I got it running so I ordered a TI Automotive 535 to replace it. I also ordered a generic inline 400lph Bosch style pump and Y’d it into lines as a back up pump in case this happened again. I was stranded for about 6 hours and do not want to to that again .

Past three days I have been working on the gas tank to install 2 aftermarket fuel floats since the float sensors I already have in the tank are not compatible for a saddle tank setup.

These are universal 4” floats and Mitsubishi has two perfect spots to install them. I’ll be making another harness to accommodate all the new pieces I’m adding in.

I ran out of daylight but I was able to get the floats installed+sealed. They do not leak and they work as intended . I messed up the driver side access panel but it’s close enough to access the bolts for service. Tomorrow I’ll be putting the car back together again and finishing up the housing for the gauges

Not the permanent location/mounting but everything works. I have about 10 gallons of E85 so the gauges don’t really need to be calibrated. The low fuel light and factory fuel gauge are still plugged in but their accuracy is irrelevant. I’ll leave them plugged in to see if anything changes because I made some adjustments

Small update because I’ve been busy
- My wiring burnt up for my AWD pump setup so I made a new harness with 14ga wire instead of the 22ga that I got from Amazon.
- I’ve been collecting parts to install a 2gal surge tank in my spare tire well
- Cutting out bad metal in spare tire well and welding in some 16ga sheet metal. I will also be making a new point around the area.
- Get the car running again for more than a month
