4g64 vs 100mm 4g63 Crankshaft

Whats the difference? Took the wideblock 6 bolt 4g64 apart and found it needs a crankshaft. Crank pulley key wallowed out the channel....

That link didnt have anything saying the difference between the 64 crank and the 100mm 63 crank

There is no 100mm 4g63 crank. A 4g63 crank has a 88mm stroke. A 4g64 crank has a 100mm stroke, and can be used in a 4g63 block to make a stroker.

if you have a 7 bolt block you need a 7 bolt crank. If you are using a 6 bolt block you need a 6 bolt crank. The 6 bolt 100mm cranks are a little harder to find, thats why lots of people run the aftermarket cranks in them.

I fully aware about the 6 bolt and 7 bolt info, no reason why you should have even commented about that. Im using a 6-Bolt G64B aka 4g64 "wideblock" in the car.

The crankshaft in your link is Eagles version of the Mitsubishi g64b, 4g64, and Hyundai g4cs crankshaft.

The second link even states this.

A 4g63 100mm crank, is a 4g64 crank.

So why is the stock 64 crank more wanted than the 100mm 63 crank?

Those aren't actually or technically 100mm 4g63 cranks. They are just aftermarket 100mm cranks that you can use either 63 or 64 engines. Stated by Magnus, some Eagle cranks have been found to be out of balance by at least seven grams out of the box. The stock 64 crank is a crank that has been through multiple high quality R&D testing from a car manufacturer. The eagle cranks are just copies that haven't been proven to be any better than the stock 64 cranks. You going to pay $600+ for a crank that's no better than stock and possibly a 1/4 ounce out balance when you get? Choice is yours my friend.

How about a reman crank thats "undersize crank with oversized bearings" thats what was in one of the emails[DOUBLEPOST=1415875078][/DOUBLEPOST]P.s. everyone, Im in the market for a 6 bolt 64 crankshaft.
