Hello all,
I picked up a 4g64 block fresh from the machine shop (20 over, decked for MLS, fully cleaned.. and a 4g64 micro-polished and uncut crank.

After Ive spent at least 2 hours searching and reading through threads, I still have yet to find an answer to my question.

will any 7 bolt pistons work for this application, and still come to the deck at TDC?
I know that 4g64 has 6mm of extra deck height, and that 7 bolt rods will fit no problem.

Thanks for the help,

Alex

picked up the combo this way... i figure when picking up new pistons, have verified to fit

And thank you sp1ke!

NP,
You are actually suppose to bring the pistons into the machine shop with you so that they can verify the piston to wall clearance when machining to get a perfect fit...

I know... I bought the block second hand after machining... still fresh... Will be going back to the shop that did the original work with pistons to square everything away!
