4g63t sohc 8v head gasket options

hi all, as the topic stated i have a jb 85 starion narrow body with the 2.0 4g63t sohc 8valve .. id like to change the head gasket to something that will handle the 1 bar boost all day long with no chance in hell of blowing .. can i use the stainless steel cometic head gasket or equivilent for the 4g63t dohc engine?? any input is welcome cheers all

Yes it should be the same as its still the 4g63 block. Just make sure you have a perfect surface on both had and block for the mls. But for what its worth standard arp headstuds with a felpro or mitsu composite hg will take 20+ psi all day.

The stock headgasket with ARP head studs would be more than capable. MLS gaskets are tough, but they require a flawless surface finish to seal.

Running the oriellys felpro head gasket with standard arps 25psi no issues. I pushed my stock head bolts and head gasket to 20psi for couple months before it started to push coolant to btw.
