ok im not firing on 2 cylinders. i did a test with pulling the plug wires off the plugs. from pass to driver 1 didnt do anything 2 killed the motor 3 didnt do anything and 4 killed the motor i am clueless about this problem

Can you hear missfiring?

check your coil pack and injectors start eliminating problems I have delt with a misfire before there very annoying.

ok thanks for the help guys... i did an overlook of the motor while i was putting some new parts on and when i got to the plug wires i saw that the guy that owned the motor before me had the wires on the wrong pins on the coil. so that problem is solved. but i believe i blew my 1.5l trans so im in the market for a new one along with a 1g fwd turbo trans and everything i need to run it (i have no idea what all i need) i plan on building the 1g trans and putting in an lsd.

the tratring issue is solved and it runs smooth. i have a different issue now. i started the car today and it kept stalling out on me both on its own and when i hit the throttle. do these motors hate it when they get cold?

My talon would run fine starting in -25 Celsius as long as the block heater had been on so count that out. The turbo trans most likely uses different CV shafts, so get a drivers side shaft from an awd so that it has the propeller shaft.
