ok..

i am gettin rid of my 420a for a 6 bolt 4g63. I know the parts i need to have it work and all that.

my question is will the axles off a 7bolt 4g work in the 6 bolt...and i was lookin at the sbr conversion kit and they have 2 packages...1. is for the block and thats it. the second though is for the head and block...does this mean a 6 bolt head and intake mainfold will not fit in my engine bay?? or it a Mod so to speak...better part that you might as well do??

kind of cinfused on that one...

and ? #2...will my gs suspension and rotors work with the 4g63...i would think it would but am not sure...dont wanna get the motor in and have sh** not fit...

and im gonna go gst...not gsx because there is alot of stuff i would need to get...new gas tank and rear suspension...

i almost forgot...will the smic of a second gen be needed??or will it even fit with the first gen motor??

will i be battling with this all through the modding process...having i/c piping and stuff not fit???

motor mounts????

tranny mounts????

radiator??????1g or 2g???

umm if you dont know the answers to (some of them at least) these fairly basic questions you may not be ready for a complicated engine swap like this. how would the type of rotor be affected by the engine? i dont know how the intercooler is placed in the 1g, but, intercoolers are universal to a point. they will go with anymotor, you just have to get the right piping to get to it. i would research alot more before even attempting this thing.

i am confused to which motor to use when buying parts...A 1g or a 2g...radiator either will work i think as i can get piping for it...

but im worried about intercooler stuff...i might just go stright into fmic...i can have a buddy make me ic piping...my main concern is the motor mounts...everthinf else is able to be worked around...i want the motor in there right...the piping for i/c is easily fixable...

ive done motor swaps(honda, nissan)but i was lookin for exact answers to my questions...such as the engine mounts...mainly...and the radiator...i can get my hands on a 2g fluidyne easily...but will it fit the 6bolt(1g) motor...if not i can get custom piping...

the 420a will be in my garage...the turbo kit is already off it...the tranny has some issues...bigtime...but i might part it out in here...i have alot of powdercoated parts and i will get rid of them cheap...the motor only has 66,000 miles...and 3,000 on a rebuild...

i found a guy in cali that is willing to send me a front clip...dash, shifter, panels, axles, 99 rims...the only catch is it 4g's...for a motor with 78,000miles...
