Ok I'm trying to swap a 4G63T into my 87 Acura Integra. Sounds crazy. I know. That's me. Why an 87 Integra? I've been an g1teg enthusiest for some time now. I wanted to do something different. The g1teg is already a rare car to see around. Well members on the g1teg forums have already done everything like turbocharge (which I've done) and swap B Series. I started driving a Talon for a year now and love the power. I stopped driving my g1teg. Now I want something lighter with the power of the 4G63 so I started collecting DSM junk and decided to put the 4G63 into my G1teg.

What I want to know is, do all I need to get the motor going is the complete motor, complete engine harness, and ecu? Is there any other electronic devices that the motor needs to run. Here's my parts list:

Complete block and head
Complete engine harness
Turbo ecu
Shifter assembly with shifter cables
complete turbo gauge cluster
Speedometer cable
1G intercooler
2 1G 16in. stock donuts
driver side engine mount
turbo exhaust manifold
purge sensor/fuel reg sensor

In two weeks I will be getting:

Intake manifold/throttle body/elbow/fuel rail/injectors
TD04 turbo
stock down pipe
Crank angle sensor
rubber charge pipes
1G BOV with elbow
driver and passenger axles
driver and passenger complete spindles

Any help would be very appriciated!!!

You have the tranny, right? And make sure you get a FWD ecu unless you are plannin to make the teg AWD. heh Power transistor on the side of the intake mani? Make sure ya get the fuse boxes of course. Looks like you got everything else tho.

yea you got everything ... why a tdo4 turbo though? That's gotta be the weakest stock turbo a dsm comes with. ( the 13g ) ... get at least a 14b or a 16g even. Also, if this is a 1g block then there is no crank angle sensor. It's tied in with the cam angle sensor. 2gs have the crank angle sensor and it's located under the timing belt cover.

About the TD04, Lazers come with TD04s and that's the only turbo DSM in the yard right now so I'd better get it while it's there. Everything 1/2 price.

About the crank angle sensor, I meant the cam angle sensor. I always get the names confused.

I'd love to go AWD and could get the parts too because there is a 91 AWD Ecplise (which is where I got my block and head that I mentioned), but I don't want to spend too much $$ on this project. This swap is already going to be tough to do. Maybe in the future, I'll look into it if I get this thing going. I did look at the rear suspension. Lost more stuff there than the FWD.

I'm still waiting on a tranny right now.

RoasT beeF, what were you mentioning about a power transistor on the manifold? Not familiar with that. It must have to do with the coil right? And about the fuse box, do I need it? Can't I use my integras fuse box? That's what I was thinking.

I've seen something called an mpi controll rely. What's that? Is that something that is controlled by the ecm?

Another thing is that I'm trying to get this thing legally certified so I need all these little parts. I don't really know how they are going to smog me under. What year, make, model. There's so many things because of DSM. I'll find out later when I take it in. If I'm missing something, I guess I'll need to go grab it from the junk. Let me know what you guys all think.

Thanks guys!!!
