420A 4G63 engine swap?

anyone know if you swap a 94 gsx engine and tranny into a 97 rs 420A car? can buy 94 for 2000 with 17" momo racing rims the body is shot and interior gone but motor and everything else is good?

if i can do this what kind of problems am i looking toget into?

Yes you can with about 5k and alot of praying.

Yeah no sh!t, it isn't worth the time and money. Take the $2000 save up another grand and buy a HAHN Stage 2 turbokit...Just to swap a turbo 4G63 into my 97 RS; I was told it would be almost a $10,000 job, mostly in labor...

yeah, just buy the turbo kit, you'd be faster than a stock GSX anyway

sounds good was just checking anyway because the 4g63 has crank wlak with a lot of boost.... which system would do you guys like better.... the hahn turbo kit or star turbo kit?? curious!!!!!!!!!!

I'm partial to Star, manily because I have one, the kit looks great, runs fast, and isn't DAMN expensive.

That and I think Hahn SUCKS, but that's my opinion of course!!!

can you upgrade the star turbo to that g25 or g28 that they have on the dsm tuners from turbotechs? what did you pay for your kit and does it have a front intercooler?
