4G63 cyclone/16g

Does a cyclone come w/a 16g? trying to settle an arguement. Also my mechanic thats putting in this cyclone does'nt want to transfer the head off my old engine (which is ported and polished)on to the new cyclone since its such a low milage JDM motor. Is this a valid reason or is he just not wanting to do it or lazy? Should i raise hell or not? Hes already transferring my 550cc injectors and my cams off the old engine, thanx guys

If you import a used JDM crate motor, you have a chance of getting a 16g, but mine (that I just got running) came with the standard 14b.

Also, I don't see any reason why he won't swap the heads. It's your car, it's your money. If your old head, which is polished and ported, is in good condition have him swap 'em.

Also, just in case you didn't know, the only real difference between a Cyclone and a USDM motor is the intake manifolds. Someone said they have slightly different compression as well, but I can't confirm that.

If you're importing a JDM 4G63. You have a chance of getting an Evo 1-3 motor that had the 16G on it and Yellow top 510 cc injectors. For the most part though, expect 450s, and a 14B.

Oh, and the "Cyclone" is just the intake manifold. There is no "Cyclone" motor.
