4g61 block

iv got a 4g61 block and crank in mint shape. the blocks been painted lime green with high heat engine paint. im not sure what to do with it other then try and sell it for a few bucks. any one got a idea on a price for it or better yet interested in buying it. i would like to try and get 90 bucks for it if i can. but just knowing how much its worth to people would help too.

It would be worth more if it was a complete long block. Try the CSM forums.

yeah but i need the other parts cuze im swapping it to a 4g63. i could give the pistons with it but no rings for rods.
the rods im keeping and the rings r bad on it.
and the head i need its a 4G63 head already.
someone that had the car before me swapped the block from 4g63 to 4g61.

find someone with an Eagle Summit RS that has a blown 4G61 and see if they want it ...

wow, from a 1.6L motor to a 2.0L motor .. head was the same?

Actually the head will have a 43cc combustion chamber instead of 47cc. It will give you a nice compression bump.

Thought you ment you were using the head off the 1.6 engine.
