420A 420a turbo vaccum lines

Hi, I’m having some doubts on were to connect these 2 lines the one on the turbo and the wastegate one.

On my Dad’s 420aT I have them hooked up to each other. Wastegate needs a boost reference. Compressor housing is said boost reference .

That would be the minimum setup, pressure source from the turbo housing nipple to the wastegate nipple. Boost then would be controlled by the wastegate spring tension.
