It has cracked or you think it will? If it hasn't yet, try it out and see, can't realy hurt. You can get a manifold from www.thestreetsource.net , hahn, or slowboyracing.com where I just got mine from.

+1 for manifold from thestreetsource.net :thumb:

Another +1 for thestreetsource.net.

Mike there will work with you just give him a call. He will get whatever turbo flange you need and weld it on there for you and he also sells both gaskets as well, (manifold and turbo) if you need them.

Add one more to the tally for the Street Source. They actually screwed up my order (improperly welded flange angle), but were very willing to fix it. Now, I couldn't be happier with my new manifold; unless I ever decide to get a T3 or something (very unlikely), I don't foresee ever having to upgrade.

The slow boy racing manifold is a star manifold. I was assuming that it was going to be the same manifold, just that it would say turbonetics instead of Star... Well I got it and it says Star LOL. Oh well, I guess I will give a review if I ever get things to fit

Eh? Sounds like false advertising to me...

The manifold is cast steel though, right? I was always under the impression that Star manifolds were welded like the HRC ones.

No, the Star manifolds were Cast steel/iron(not sure which) and are made by turbonetics.

i jus drove my car today to test it out and it started cracking... also my boost gauge is reading funnny like it wont go to press it jus stays at vaccuum and the lines that are from the boost gauge to the blow off valve and the intake manifold have oil in them whats that about??

theres a tube coming off the back of the gauge runs to the engine bay. it tees off to my bov and to my intake manifold then it tees again andgoes to my head and there seems to be oil in there

what part of the head?

If its one of the valves coming out of it, then of course its going to have oil in it.

Can you see it on this picture?

Did you tee one vacuum source more than once? If so, that might be causing improper boost gauge readings.

As for oil in your manifold, it's not supposed to be there. Then again, with your grammar it's difficult to understand anything you're saying.

there was oil in it and i fixed it and then i turned it out and oil leaked out of my o2 housing so im sure that my turbo is done
