You can also install the FPR backwards when that happens the fuel system won't flow that will also trash the bladder in the FPR and it is no long functional. Try removing it from the system put the hoses back the way they were and try starting it.
The thing that concerns me is that in line fuse you removed. The 20 amp in there is blown suggesting a possible wiring issue. Like bare wires touching in the some where in the ignition wiring or something that runs in series with it. I suppose maybe getting a refurbished ecu could be the ticket but it is a gamble. It would be nice if some of the 420a specialists would answer this thread but looks like im it, i had that motor long ago and my memories of it are pretty foggy but ill do what i can to help you find a solution.
