420a hahn portfueler question

i can't post in the 420a tech sections yet so please feel free to move it, i have the hahn port fueler on my 420a thats turbo'd, yes yuck but i blew the motor up and re built it with 8:1 wiesco pistons, eagle rods, arp head studs, cometic mls head gasket. i got everything for a really good price is why i kept the car.. my question is i read that you can run this port fueler system up to 27psi, it won't lean out or anything, true or false?

You have to tune the portfueler. It is a fuel management system, you still have to manage it. And unless you have the supporting mods to run 27 psi, I wouldn't suggest it. But the Portfueler is good for 27psi.

I'm thinking about having her dyno tuned..do you think its gonna be a crazy amount to have it tuned?

The portfueler system is actually a breeze to tune. However the place you take it is going to charge hourly or by the session and its usually not cheap. But IMO a tune is worth the money.

I ran 25 psi with the stage 5 portfueler never touched it and she never gave me problems...put down 290 whp on 17psi

do you know how it is tuned? is it software like plug and play or is it like bringing it to somewhere and they tune it?
