hahn 20g question

Hey what's going on.well my 16g needs replaced and I found a hahn super 20g for a good deal.now I want to keep my evo3 mani on and I have a stock flange 02 external dump I would also like to keep on because my exhaust is all welded.now ill get the adaptor plate for the exh mani but my question is will the 02 work with my stock flange?if not would it be possible to use a evo3 16g .70 a/r exh housing?thanks for the help in advanced.

Anyone care to pitch in a few words?anyone at all?

No.

As long as the Hahn turbo has a TD05H turbine, yes.


Just for reference, the a/r of the Evo III turbine housing is nowhere near .70. The Chinese housings are stamped .70 a/r because they attempted to translate the MHI housing's "070" which displays that the housing is 7cm2 (around .48 a/r).

Here is a .70 a/r housing....as you can see, it's much bigger and has a completely different design than the housing on your Evo III:

Hey just the guy I was looking for/turbo expert thanks for your input.so do you think this turbo would be more of a hassle then its worth.I have my genuine evo3 16 exh housing but the hahn turbo is td06 not td05.should I just keep searching for mhi 20?thing is I need something fast as this is my dd and I can only afford 1 day of downtime to swap out turbos.

And its funny you post that pic justin because I just came into possesion of one just like it today.it is on a blown 14b,kid said its of a td06 20g.idk what he was thinking doing that ,but even then I would still be farked.its not bolt on to my 02.
