I have a 420a. I decided to add a ground to the engine.
When I started it up it reved up to 3k rpm then to its normal idle.
When I drove it I noticed it was more responsive.
When I turn it off then back on it still revs up to 3k rpm and back to normal idle.

My question is, is this normal? It never did that before adding a ground.

Did you do ANYTHING else besides add a ground strap? Unhook battery? Unplug ANYthing. No the behavior is not normal.
