Between a 3 and a 4 Bolt rear end is there really a difference between the differntials? Or just the axles, hubs, etc are different?

Or let me say, if I have some 4 Bolt axels can I use my old 3 Bolt LSD with it?

Thanks

gear ratio I believe is different, plus I also believe the 3 bolt is a lot weaker of a rear end. If you do a search on rear diff you should be able to answer your own question.

Ratio is the same, there is only a diffrence between Manual and Auto Transmission.

But has ever anyone tryed to but some 4 Bolt axels in a 3 Bolt differential?
I guess the differentials are the some they only change the axels...
