4-2-1 Header

I'm not exactly familair with the NA performance brands, however, Megan Racing is pretty solid with their work. It's a bit more but still under $200 and comes with a warranty.

Megan Racing

If you search around you may be able to find it cheaper than the actual manufactures site.

Hey guys, I was looking for a 4-2-1 header for my 1999, non turbo car.
I was wondering if you guys can tell me what you think of this one.

95-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.0L Non -Turbo 4-2-1 Stainless Header

Any info will be great. Im not to knowledgeable about the inter-workings of a car but am trying to learn.
Dont get me wrong, I love to go turbo...but money wise I just cant afford it. :(

Thanks

Wouldn't buy it considering they don't even know what they're selling. Pic is a 4-1 header. If the companies can't use the right image or get the product they're selling right, they never get my business.

Yeah the pic looks like a 4-1 but I would take it over the megan racing due to the fact that the cheaper one has a flange and gasket. I have a megan racing and it leaks because you can't put a gasket in it. I'm going to cut it and weld a flange on. The cheaper one has a nice design, not full of bends.

is the connection the ball ones with 2 bolts and springs?

if so...i have a set of 4-2-1 headers with the same connection. it's such a dumb connection....i'm doing some work in the spring and cutting this off and welding flanges onto it.

I bought the BBP 4-1 header from racing guys on ebay. Its basically a knock off of the one Greddy makes, it has the flange with gaskets. I have had mine on for about a year so far without any issues, and it fits perfect. I would recomend it if your looking for a cheap header.

I did the same thing. I bought a header from Tuning Pros (Store on Ebay) pretty cheap. Only I am waiting for mine to arrive at the house. It is also a 4-1 header. Here is the link if you want to see!

Yeah its 4-1 and the top half slides in the bottom half and just two bolts hold it together. It seems so poorly designed. I tried every kind of gasket or RTV.. nothing holds up. So cut it and flange it.
