3052 waterlines

I decided to take my 3052 off to weld a tial vband 44mm in place of my hks 40mm. Vband makes life easier and Tials are just awsome wastegates. Besides that , my question is right now im running the waterlines to this turbo. How many arent running water lines to this turbo? Is it ok not to? It would make unbolting this thing alot easier. thanx for any info. Chris

Given that the CHRA is both water and oil cooled I would run both coolant lines. I know the harded lines can be a PITA, especially the one located between the back side of the turbo and the block.

Here's what I did. I got rid of my hardened lines and basically made my own. I used a 4 AN flexible hose with AN fittings which gave me plenty of flexibilty and more importantly eased the installation and uninstallation process. Hope that helps.

Its a water cooled center as well as oil, so you need to run both.

on BB CHRA, you must run the water line. I converted my waterlines to AN fittings and SS -6 line.

could u guys post some pics of what it looks like w/ your set ups, i'm looking into getting this 3052 and trying to get all the research in that i can prior to buying.
