3000 rpm cutout after 14b install

I installed a 14b on my 2g last night along with new plugs and a radiator. I do not currently have the wastegate hooked up to a boost sorce or have the front o2 sensor. My car runs fine and pulls about 8psi until 3000 rpm it starts to cut out and pop. It kind of sounds like anti-lag.

You can start by hooking up the waste gate. then hook up a o2 sensor. Otherwise your going to melt your pistons over boosting with a lean condition.

Is it the stock boost gauge or a mechanical that says 8psi?

First why is the front o2 not hooked up and what's in its place to tell ecu a/f conditions. Second write this down and never forget it . If you do work on your motor and mess with any part of the charge system. Do a Boost leak test right after to ensure no leaks, just saying I know it doesn't leak won't cut it. Also check around turbine housing and exh mani for leaks as well.

The waste gate is hooked up now, and I still need to get the 02 sensor out of the t25 and put in the 14b. But it turned out my soft pipe after the inter cooler popped off. So vedrdict was: boost leak

Ok get that o2 hooked up before your making another post about killing your motor.

Lol, will do Just need to get the one out of the t25 and swap it with the 14b

When pb blaster doesn't work try a torch. Install with a copper washer next time.
