3" o2 eliminator exhaust

if you get a 3in o2 eliminator exhaust do you need to get a oil filter relocation kit also?

if you want. or you can just use a different oil filter, i know the 2G guys use 1G's. im not sure if there is a difference between the 1G filters and the evo filters, but as far as i know you can use them too.
