3.0 v6 engine trans swap

Alright I am new to tthis site I belong to avenger forumz. Here is my question I have a 1997 dodge avenger 2.5 v6 automatic trans. I am looking at doing a engine swap to the 3.0 from an eclipse. My question is everyone is saying I have to stay with the stock trans from the avenger but if I get the computer from an eclipse and the engine and trans from the same one will they bolt into the exhixting mounts on my car and could I get away with using my computer or if I switch computers would it work or are the wiring harness too difrent or would it be cut and splice. any thoughts. Also Im looking for one that has a turbo

You may want to try club3g.com. Iam sure there a few members here that can answer but mostly 4g63/64 and 420a talk here.

Why not just do a 4g63 swap it is going to be closer to the fame/mounting.... They had 420a model
