ok. Thought I has a bad injector because it wasent firing. So bought new 450's. Installed them, no change. just out of curiosity, started tapping on the MAF and it ran great until I stopped tapping on it. OK, so I replaced my MAF. Ran great for 1 day, then my cyl. 3 injector quits again. Tried tapping on MAF and it does great while I tap on it. WTF is going on! Why am I going through MAF???

16g (10lbs), intake, 3'' catback, fuel pump rewire, new injectors, CEL - Misfire cyl. 3

no. no logger yet. i was just concidering ECULink just before this happened...

Are you sure it has nothing to do with wiring? Is it possible a wire got pinched and when you tap it makes good contact? It might also be a coincidence that it works when you tap the Maf, have you checked to make sure it is the injector and not the spark plug not firing? Just some ideas to help ya out!

Just replaced the spark plugs, injectors, wires, and checked for spark. Spark is Great. Double and triple checked wire/harness/connector. Wiggled them while car was running (on 3 cylinders). Nothing made a difference unless I tapped on the MAF.

Quick question. Would a MAP sensor have the ability to completely shut off an injector? I know it adjusts air/fuel according to the pressure in the intake, but wasen't sure if it could adjust it that much....

also took all intake piping off and checked for cracks/leaks. Boost leak test only revealed a VERY small leak at the throttle body where the throttle cable "actuator" enters the throttle body. But thats barely noticeable.

Bad ECU!!! DAM THIS SUX
