2nd Gen MAS in a 1st Gen???

I just bought a 2nd gen mas to put into my 1st gen. I was wondering how do I install it and how do I take the old one out? pics would be very helpful. I have a 3" hard intake.

NO HELP thanks anyways for the sacasim. If you read what I put i said how to remove and install the old and new MAS. not the wire diagram. thanks but no thanks.

The mas i bought is plug and play so no cutting nessasary. thanks

Which intake pipe do you have? If you still have the stock rubber intake pipe, I would suggest getting the intake and filter adapter from dejon powerhouse That way you can just replace the whole intake and mas at one time. For removing the stock pieces, refer to vfaq.com for directions.

thanks for the help...my intake pipe is a black 3" hardpipe. not the stock one. Im not sure who its made by it was on it when i got it. how do I get the MAS to attach to my aircan? another coupler I'm guessing on the other side? how do I remove the stock Mas?

Loosen the clamp on the mas end of the intake and the mas should slide right out of the coupler. To remount the new 2g mas, go to your local hardware store and get a 3" fernco coupler. This will stretch over the 2g mas but will be loose on the intake pipe. Once you tighten the clamps on the ferco coupler, everything will fit nice and snug.
