Like the title says...

Has anyone ever put a 2G Fuel Pump in a 1G ?

i think i read somewhere that the 2g pumps less than the 1g does, so i'm assuming that won't be a good idea

Well...
according to Road Race the second gen fuel pump flows a bit more in comparison. In fact, if you rewire a 2nd gen FP it flows almost as much as a non rewired Walbro 190. I talked to Mike from road race and he said its possible to put a 2nd gen pump on a 1st gen with some changes in wiring and brackets. I just got a 2nd gen fuel pump from ebay for about $20.

I'm going to datalog and compare the max boost possible (without knock) on both pumps and see what happens... I'll try and keep this post up to date with my results. :thumb: If anyone has ever done this... or has an opinion... let me know!
