I'm still good for heading out from Pittsburgh. I think I'm going to leave late tonight and drive through the night. I worked night shift last night, and I think I'm just going to stay on that sleep schedule.

I just have a leaky injector o-ring to fix and I should be good to go.

If anyone wants to meet up for a night drive, PM me. I'm not 100% sure what time I'm leaving though.

Ok just got done seafoaming and changing everything so I'll be there tomorrow, I'm bringing 2 FP Intakes with matching couplers, a 1g black powder coated fuel rail, a COP ignition with extra cores and some other stuff. Looking for a lower intercooler pipe and maybe a new TB.

New injectors, new fuel pump, and new exhaust gasket just installed.

Now I just need to get all the junk out of the car and get it swept.

For some reason in my stack of calipers I have every one of those brackets except a drivers rear... WTH is with that?



That is one of two places on the whole pike that has it. The other is Oakland.

I've got the trip figured out, we have to stop 4 times each way to make sure there is enough fuel in the tank to get to the next juice station. Were looking at roughly 9 hours. Probably more with stopping so many times to get there. So we will be leaving in the wee hours Saturday morning. I'm thinking around 12-1 just in case something comes up. Let's do it!!!

You are INSANE. I dread driving the 45 minutes there let alone 9 hours haha. Maybe I'm just lazy? So if the meet starts at 10am you are going to start driving at 1am!?

Yep, leaving around midnight. We are taking Cyclonekid77's 1gb Laser to the meet. We spent a year putting it together in my garage after plucking it out of a field so it should be good to go. We just put a "low mileage" built auto trans in it last week so that is the only thing in the back of my mind.

Taking this car is somewhat of a pain though because of having to get off the pike to make stops due to it being on E85. Should make the trip..interesting. We got lucky that some of the stations are open 24/7, otherwise we would be in my AWD.

When will you be passing through Pittsburgh? Specifically, the I-76 Harmarville exit 48? I may meet up with you. It's a good stop for food. I'm not sure if they have E85.

I'm thinking you'll pass through at about 3-4am. That exit is about 30 min from my house and that's where I'll be getting on the PA Pike.
