Resolved 2GNT boxes on firewall?

Wanted to know what are those three box plugs next to the brake fluid are for?

Those are relays. One of them is the mfi relay and I can't remember of the top of my head what the other two are for.

ASD (MPI), Fuel pump, and something to do with the AUTO transmisson, not neccesarily in that order.

I have heard that some cars have the third one and some dont, my '97s with manual transmission has not had it and my wifes Auto does so I presume its related.

Thankz you 2. Could that be the reason why my car would start up then die?

It could be a possibility. If the fuel pump relay went out that could be a cause. Is there any kind of clicking noise coming from the relays when trying to start your car?

It could be that reason. The ASD really could be bad. Thats where I have my kill switch for my car tapped into. The ASD relay could be shorting in and out and cause your car to do. Maybe a bad fuel pump. Or the relay as well. It also looks like your a automatic tranny. So thats what the third one could be for something with the tranny I think.
