I have a 97 eagle talon non turbo and for a little while now i have been blowing a 30A iginition fuse. It blows so randomly though there is not rim or reason to it at all, it will blow and ill replace it and it will last for 3 months or like today i had 5 blow on me one right after the other. I just got it back from firestone(last option last night because they said they could get it in right away) and they said that they couldnt find anything wrong with it.. So now im here, anyone have any suggestions?

I did this. Nightmare. Especially at $4 a fuse.

Check the ground from your manifold to the body. Its a small wire. On the turbo its on the driver side end of the manifold. Its the signal noise reducer. That stupid little wire was carrying so much voltage it would dead short my entire car.

Check...it.

I have a 420a non turbo but I will for sure check that, and yea these fuses are so expensive!

So i left my radio pulled out for like a week and didnt have a problem with it, then i plugged it in one day and it blew again, but then left it off again and didnt have any problems, I just got it back from the shop however and they had the radio plugged in and everything trying to figure it out and fix it and not once did it blow, but the checked all the ground and everything and still didnt find anything, i do also have a push button start but have never had a problem with it, but it was installed before i had the car so i dont know if it was done correctly or not.. any suggestions?

I found the issue, it was the push button start wire that ran to the starter, had a nick in it and it was hidden up under the battery plate, thanks for all your help!

good that you found it. I was going to suggest a short because I had the same problem, except my short was a nick on another wire by the clutch pedal, which every time i turned right and pressed the clutch i moved the wire and shorted it which caused my car to die.
I add this info incase people are reading to find a solution, 9/10 its a short some where. You need to be paitent and find it.
