2gmas 550s not working help!

OK This is for a friend it is a 91 talon with a 255 s16g 2 1/1 exhaust at 17 psi. With this installed it idles like crap smell fuel and you can mash the pedal and it takes like 4 seconds to get going. It seems to like it if you ease into the rpms then mash it but after its turned off it bucks for a few minutes like its rich as hell. Now the logger the o2 refuses to cycle so for now its reading 139 low 111 med 104 high Timing is 10-11 through boost inj. duty cycle is only 45 so I cant see it being rich. Now I am not sure if the ecu needs reset before driving as it definately was not. It is throwing no codes. Also he says all the honeycombs are gone yes he said ALL Now i dont think thats good but i cant see it doing this much. Help a brother out.
Also this is with no afc as were his intentions to keep it lo budget and still have fuel for 20 psi Thanks P

I know this is old but for archives and a follow up. A new 2g mas w/ screens intact was installed and it ran like a champ. Therefore the missing honeycombs were definately the problem.. Could have dialed it in a little with the screw but since we had another laying around just swapped them.
