2gb talon middle taillight restore

On my middle taillight the black "talon" has worn away. Since this is a 2gb the letters are raised. What's the best way to make them black again besides touch up paint?

Is it looking flat black with no scratches or black missing, mask around and clear coat it.
If missing black mask and retouch.
Plastic dip can always be removed it you don't like the look. Not sure but wasn't center all amber on top half. I masked my talon letters and plastic dipped the center leaving talon amber and rest looks black.

Oooh I like it. Mine is almost all amber, but I'm assuming it was black at some point.
