2G 2Gb fog light on 2Ga issues

Today I installed the 2gb fog-lights onto my 95 with a 97 front swap. The car had come with factory fogs on it so I just made new connectors for both the fog light and the harness and they both work but only when you hold the fog light switch in, as soon as you let go of it they shut back off, The relay and fuse is good but would I need a new cruise/fog/mirror switch assembly

does the little light turn on with the swith engaged? Its most likely just the switch is bad. Take a test light onto the output lead of the switch and see if there is continuity (constant 12 volt power).
