2ga Talon to 2gb Eclipse Headlight Swap Question

Anyone know if my headlights will need to be replaced? Someone told me that the headlights are different. I know i need to replace my rear lights and the reverse lights, thats no biggie, but im not sure on what has to be done with the front end? I know different fog lights...


Anyone ever done this swap and how much did it run you? Im trying to spend under 300 for the bumpers and rear lights, that way i can afford to paint em and throw em on right away instead of collecting dirt in the basement till i have the money for a paint aswell.

u need the 97-99 headlights or just get the projectors headlights off ebay for like 200$..they work fine.

oh and the fog lights bolt right up(but u have to change the connector..no biggie

You will need the 97-99 front bumper and read bumper, headlights, tail lights, and revese lights.

Alright thnx, damn was hoping it wouldnt be the headlights , that will cost some $$$ more than i wanted . Maybe i can find a pair of the lights in a junkyard or something :X

Is there a difference between 95-99 Eclipse Headlights?

Just wondering, because on the trader and ebay the headlights all say "eclipse 95-99 headlights" so im wondering if it matters?

95-96 eclipse and 95-98 Talon lights are the same. 97-99 Eclipse lights are shaped a little different on the inside part towards center of the bumper, smaller overall.

Well, despite how often we try to get people to, it's often just a pain in the ass to do searches. It's part of why we keep trying to keep the spelling conventional- it may not occur to you to do a NOS search as "Nawzzzz", because you might forget a z or two.
