Well, with a quick search I can't seem to yield an exact answer to my specific question, so here goes:

Is there any reason why a somewhat stock 96 GSX would eat spark plugs roughly every 7500 to 8000 miles? The guy I purchased mine from said the plugs only seem to last about 2 oil changes in this car before needing changed, and that a buddy of his who works in the Mitsu service department at the local dealership told him this is normal (which I highly doubt)..

What do you guys think? Only thing I can think of is to go to a colder heat range and check the actual boost pressure (stock turbo AFAIK, I'm told its at 19 psi though)...

Haven''t had the chance to pull them and look yet. Car is still sitting at his shop til we get the title squared away. I'll pull em and have a look. Worse comes to worse and they are toasted, i have a set of good plugs here that I pulled from my old 1G 3kgt VR4. Would they work or are they too long?
