2G without CAS ?

Ok I'm wondering... Can I use a 2G without the CAS? I've got a MegaSquirt ECM, running v3 with MSnSpark Extra. I was under the impression I could use just the crank sensor, is this not true? My MegaSquirt does not have support built in for the CAS on my 2G and if I dont have to use it, I would rather not but if it is required then I'll have to build it in :/

Hmm, Okay then I'm confused.

Matt Cramer at DIYAutoTune told me I need to "reconfigure my ignition input for the 4g63 CAS" then pasted this link...

I dunno exactly what the deal is... This Megasquirt was built for a 420a and I need to use it on a 4g63
