yesterday my battery died and i boosted it and let it charge but while i was driving my battery died again, radio went off, no signals, when i press the brakes my rpms go to 0 but my car still runs and my speedo wasnt working right while driving (rpms moving up and down, speed wrong).

Would this be my alternator?

And its sunday so all the shops are closed :(

I had a similar problem on my N/T, ended up being the ground wire on my intake.

I know you got a Tsi, but i would still check all my grounds.

Sounds like it needs an alternator, but you need to do some checks first. use a mutimeter to check voltage @ the batt while running. also check voltage before and after the 100 amp fuse

first thing you want to do is inspect your battery terminals and make sure nothing is corroded or loose,

then you will need to check your grounds (tranny, engine, battery, intake manifold has one too)

then id check the volts on the battery while the car is on to see if theres any rise or drop under 13v is no good and above 14 is no good

id also check the belt on the alternator sometimes its skipping or something

id also check that 100amp fuse with a volt meter on either side of the fuse if all that checks out it MIGHT be fuel related...
