2g tranny in a 1g

i bought a 2g tranny for my 1g fwd laser 4 years ago , well it broke so i got it rebuilt by shep and i wanted to change my axles as well so asumed that they were 2g axles but they dont fit there about a foot to long and 1g wont fit cause its a 25 spline instead of the 27 like the 2g, im not sure what axles i was using before can some one help?
