2g Stainless Steel Clutch Line in a 1g?

I would like to replace my 1g Hard line with a full 2g SS Clutch line. What is needed to do this? Is it a bolt on affair? I remember the end that connects to the Master Cylinder is different correct?

Why not just buy the SS line for the 1G??? I'm in the process of doing this to my 1G, and I must say the line I got from ExtremePSI is excellent quality - direct bolt on and no worries about if it will work. Great price too

Buy the 2g. It eliminates all of the soft lines. It'll connect your slave to the connection on the frame.

dredman1 said they make a 1g specifc one now... Extreme PSI sells them.
But I believe its just the same line for 1g and 2g since SBR says they work with both generations...

I've seen it selling from a couple other vendors. For example:
1 piece master to slave clutch line- 1g : JNZ Tuning

But that price vs. ExtremePSI's - it's a no brainer

I was going to buy the line from extremepsi yesterday, but realized they are charging $20 for shipping and handling on this $40 line. wtf? Im doing a swap, i think ill just go to the junkyard, get the hard line for a $1 and replace the rubber hose with the $20 stainless.

$20 shipping?? Unless you needed it urgently and chose expedited shipping, you should have only had to pay $7.50.

I bought mines about 2 weeks ago from them and I got "free" shipping on my order (using their standard ground shipping option). It was delivered in 3 days time.

You still have to pay a $7.50 "handling" charge on all orders from them, but $47.50 still works out less than anywhere else I saw the SS line being sold. It was even better for me because I bought several items from them in that one order where I bought the line, and I was charged $7.50 for the entire order of several items

I just went back through it and and seen you could do the free shipping. I didn't catch it the first time and thought the $12 was the cheapest option. The $7.50 is more reasonable and will get my business

Yep, I'd definitely recommend getting the line from them. It's top notch quality.

The braided stainless steel has a clear coating on it so you can easily handle it without getting stuck from the braided part, and it's the perfect length to run along the entire length of the old hard line - out the way of any moving parts. You get a new banjo bolt and copper washers to seal it too (wasn't expecting that)!!!
